Welcome!
Welcome to the Antelope Valley Section of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. We are located in southern California (part of Region VI), representing much of northern Los Angeles, southern Kern and the western part of San Bernardino Counties. Major constituencies of members are at Edwards AFB, including the NASA-Dryden Flight Research Center, Air Force Research Laboratory, Propulsion Directorate, and the Air Force Flight Test Center. Additional concentrations of members are located at the Air Force Plant 42 industrial complex and the Mojave Air & Space Port. Our section often partners events with the local chapters of the Society of Flight Test Engineers and the International Test and Evaluation Association as well as other local technical societies. Our current goals are to:
1. Develop and sustain meaningful pre-college and educational outreach programs within the local community.
2. Grow leaders in aerospace technology exploration and use.
We thank you for your interest and encourage your participation.
Sincerely,
Your AIAA AV Officers
