AIAA AV Update

AIAA AV,

My name is Eric Miller. I would like to start off by introducing myself as the Vice Chair for Public Policy. I currently work at NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center in the Structures Branch. I am an enthusiastic aviator and a supporter of the local AV aviation community.

I would like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to come out and join us for the Spot Bombing Fundraiser this upcoming weekend. AIAA AV has partnered with the Aero Club and the Make-A-Wish Foundation to bring you this exciting event. Scott Beatty, VC for Member Affairs, is organizing the event. See the Events Page for more info.

Form your teams and RSVP ASAP to aiaa.av@gmail.com!

Attention all young professional members. If you are looking for opportunities to get involved or network with more experienced engineers in your field, AIAA offers many opportunities to do so. AIAA considers young professional members those who are under the age of 35. Lydia Szeligowski is the chair for Young Professional Development and can help you find out more about opportunities available to you.

To contact Lydia, send an email to aiaa.av@gmail.com. If you have any suggestions for young professional events, we would love to hear those to.

Thanks,
Eric Miller
Public Policy
