Chairman: Lydia Szeligowski
Lydia graduated from Notre Dame with a BS in Aerospace Engineering in May '07. She works for the Electronic Warfare Group at the AFFTC. She is honored to follow in the footsteps of Nalin and Jeff as AIAA AV section chair and looks forward to serving the local aerospace community. She considers herself lucky to work with dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced officers and wouldn't know where to start without them. Her other interests include playing violin with the local orchestras, finding a Master's program, and lots of reading. Public Affairs: Kia Davidson
(Job Inculdes: Communication and Webmaster)
Kia Davidson works at NASA Dryden Flight Research Center as a Structural Dynamics Engineer. She graduated with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Her interests include structural dynamics, aeroservoelasticity, and parameter identification.
Treasurer Dave Berger
Dave graduated with an M.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and works for NASA Dryden. His interests include aerodynamic optimization and computational gas dynamics for airbreathing and plasma propulsion systems.
Events & Programs: John Cochran
(Job Inculdes: Events and Technical Activities)
John Cochran works for Boeing as a MRB engineer on the F22 program at Edwards. He has a BSIT from So. Illinois Univ. and has been an AIAA member and officer for 15 years. He has worked as both a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer on such programs as the B2, F22 and Space Shuttle. He considers himself both an aircraft and space nut.
Educational Outreach: Nalin Ratnayake
(Job Inculdes: Education, Pre-college Outreach, and History Symposium Chair)
Nalin received is B.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University, where he first joined AIAA and served as Chairman of the ASU Student Branch. He currently works at NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center with the Flow Physics Group, under the Aerodynamics and Propulsion Branch. Besides AIAA, Nalin enjoys theater and photography, and is currently pursuing his M.S. in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Southern California.
Section Affairs: Eric Miller
(Job Inculdes: Secretary, Membership, and Young Proffessionals)
Eric Miller graduated from The University of Cincinnati with a BS in Aerospace Engineering. He works for NASA Dryden Flight Research Center with the Aerostructures Branch. Eric is interested in computational fluid and solid mechanics. He is also an avid pilot and aviation enthusiast.

Executive Advisor: Jeff Veselenak
Jeff Veselenak, former Antelope Valley Section Chair 2000-2007, is currently working as an Air Force civilian Acquisition Advisor for the Air Force Flight Test Center. He has provided technical support to Air Force flight test and rocket propulsion research programs for over 20 years.
